Epik Masonry was founded in 1990 by Shaun Loughlin, a California native with more than 40 years of hands-on experience working alongside builders, landscape designers, architects, and homeowners. His background spans every major aspect of the masonry and hardscape industry, with deep expertise in stonework, outdoor living design, and custom construction.

In 2005, Shaun expanded the company's capabilities by earning his C-53 swimming pool remodeling license, complementing his existing General Builder, Masonry, Concrete, and Hardscape credentials. Today, Epik specializes in custom design-and-build projects across all areas of stone masonry and outdoor living: outdoor kitchens, fire pits, fireplaces, pizza ovens, retaining walls, hardscape renovations, and more; crafted using natural stone, concrete, clay brick, stone veneer, and premium pavers.
